Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and song writer. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. The main focus of her is the performer. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she's dabbled into when she was just nine years old. When she was 12 she was taking music seriously enough to begin training professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. From that point on, there's been never a moment to rest. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and lived her life in the USA. To preserve the heritage, she is learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs that incorporate the language. One of her songs was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at the Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was in the show "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three female singers along with her were brought together for auditions of for the remaining music. The group was eliminated from the show during the fifth week of live performances.
