Pooja Shegde was a born in Mumbai, Maharashtra India, on 13 October 1991. She is a Indian Film Actress, Model and well-known for her role in Tamil Telugu Hindi and other film productions. The personal story began when she was born to Hindu parents Manjunath (the father) and Latha (the mother). Rishabh Hegde is her elder brother. Pooja Hegde's family is from Udupi. She speaks fluently in Hindi, Tamil Telugu Kannada and English. Pooja has decided to work as a model/actress due to the fact that she's been fascinated by modelling and style since the age of ten. Her first steps were to chase her goal of becoming a model while she was studying. In 2010, she participated of the contest in 2010 Miss Universe India contest where she became the second runner-up. She began her journey into films after this. Mughmodo is her debut film. She met with filmmakers from the south to gain her start in the world of movies. Mughmodo was her first film after she approached various South-based film makers. The film Oka Laila Kosam was the title for the film that she was offered. Then she received a number of film offers, and appeared in various films from south India. Ashutosh G varikar was her director for her movie Mohanjo Dara where she played alongside Hrithik Rohan. This movie was an instant blockbuster and it led her back to South. Saakshyam Arvinda Samethaveera Raghava was her first Telugu film release shortly after her debut in Bollywood.
