Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Olivia was only 2 when her parents split up. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was a United States Air Force member. Although the family was spread across the country, her primary place of residence was Tokyo, Japan. At this point she performed in various local theater productions and later began modeling in the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia was a model who relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfill her desire to become an actor, continued to work towards that goal even after her family moved back to America. Olivia's acting career took off after just a couple of tiny role. She landed the part of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) as well as the role of receptionist for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". Following the TV show Beyond the Break, she continues to browse. She also has a black belt for taekwondo. In the year 2000, at the age of two, of age, her mom was married again. Although the family relocated many times, she was primarily raised in Tokyo, Japan, where the military stationed her stepfather. In the University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
