Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie has been the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was a second place finisher in the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter, media star and CrossFit participant - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The popular athlete is the first woman who won at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning the Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017, and 2013. Annie and her parents and siblings were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young age Annie was a huge sporting fan, and she loved exercising. She took home numerous awards at school events. In 2009 she competed for the first time in a CrossFit event in California. She performed very good at those events. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 (as as of 2021). She's 5'7 tall, and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. Annie did very well in the initial games and finished in the first 10 in a field of 70. Though she wasn't able to take home any title however she was able to finish with an eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the tutelage of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. Next year she took part in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal because of her dominating performance. She became the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. Annie won again her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she received a silver-medal and recently in 2021 won an Olympic bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is an instructor and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is currently a competitive athlete, has appeared in advertisements to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's Yerbae - the sidekick for Nu Transparent Labs Periodization and others. Alongside this, she has a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand subscribers where her training lifestyle videos as well as travel videos are shared.
