David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. His program with its dramatic clip of celebrities as well as his animated movements has become the most watched newscast in America. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, it was his primary substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. Many of his primetime ABC News specials include Breaking Point the Story of Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint - Refugees from America. He has covered news around the globe, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has won numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors at The Associated Press.
