Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking as well as Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. In the beginning, she found her work as stimulating intellectually, but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny speciality store for food called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Then, a number of books were released and she also contributed to magazine articles. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. In addition, she offers products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina is an aspiring cook who has never attended a cooking school and has never employed in the kitchen. She is an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
