Zoe-perry
Perry was born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. She was not allowed to start acting by her parents until she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the stress it would result in. Perry, who was too shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry began her career as an actress in New York after graduation, landing minor role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry return to California to work as an actress in the theater. She appeared on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. In 2017, she played a recurring role on The ABC political thriller Scandal with her father. She was also cast in her role on the CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. Despite having a family connection to the character, she was offered the role through an audition.
